You get to choose.

You can keep yourself busy living your life so as to avoid breakdowns.

Avoiding someone telling them they don't want to talk to them.

Avoiding your business venture flopping.

Avoiding your parents disapproving of what you do.

Avoiding rejection.

Avoiding failure.

This will ensure that you get a life set up to avoid breakdowns.

You will not be alone in doing so. Many people create very successful careers from this life.

But, breakdowns always precede a breakthrough. If you want to create something new, you must be willing to set aside the old, even if that means things get ugly for a while.

If you want the breakthrough, you have to be willing to move THROUGH the breakdown.

You don't have to. There is nothing wrong with a life based around avoiding breakdowns.

But if you always stop when you get to the breakdown, you'll never create the breakthrough.

You get to choose what kind of life you look back and see you have lived: One where you went for the breakthroughs, or one where you protected yourself from the breakdowns.
